Penalty seems to be one of those terms which are constantly mispronounced by Germans who do not understand that the main stress is on the first syllable. They usually stress the second syllable and say pen-nulltie.
Don't you think the punishment was harsh. I do and I am not afraid to tell you so. Are you listening? I don't hear your response. Is there one or is it I that is not listening?
