Alas, the Dada artists were so good that their protest became a respected movement in itself, so – if you think about it – they were failures because of their talent and success.

I think it opened the door for freedom of speech in many ways. It brought about some contradictions though- obviously! The world was not a better place because of it but at least people were aware more so of the complete idiocy of the world. This group of people who in a sense were mirroring this back to society to show everyone ecaxactly that.
