I read once that when human beings still lived in darkness, we developed speech in order to keep track of everyone's position. We are talking in the dark to hear each other's voices. Kind of a nice metaphor for the creative process in general.
The burden of comprehension is on the speaker, not on the listener.
If we can't make ourselves understood, we should shut up.
Talking is overrated. People need to learn to appreciate silence, even when in the presence of others. Follow the path of Silent Bob.
